MOHAN LAL SHARMA
Born in India in 1935, Mohan Lal Sharma studied art with his father who was known to be an artist of religious art and portraits of royal families from Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Mohan Lal Sharma furthered his studies with the famous artist A.H. Muller for eight years during his young age. He also completed the Inter Grade Drawing Examination of Maharashtra Government in Bombay as well received an art diploma in fine art from the Rajasthan School of Art located in Jaipur. To add to his certifications, he also participated in the examination of Royal Drawing Society in London. His paintings are in the collections of the Royal Families of Jodhpur, Jaipur and Rajkot. Sharma is listed in “Who’s Who In International Art”. His paintings has been auctioned at prestigious auction houses around the world. Other awards and recognitions include:

Vinod Sharma belongs to an artistic family as his grandfather and father, Mohan Lal Sharma, are both artists as well. Vinod Sharma's father, Mohan Lal Sharma, received his art education from his father Mr. Chaturbhuj Sharma, a state artist known as Bhattu Lal, and was associated with Archibald Herman Muller for eight years. This was a big achievement for the Sharma family which took their art to a higher level and quality. Since Vinod was a child, he studied his art with his father. As he grew up, he developed his talent over the years. He was honored with several awards and participated in several exhibitions around the world. Currently, Vinod Sharma resides in Atlanta, Georgia and continues to pursue his passion for art. He is currently a member of North Georgia Arts Guild. |
